About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been part of the Phoenixville clinical community since opening my private practice in 2014. My career journey in the mental health field began after graduating from LaSalle University in 2001. I spent over two decades working across diverse mental health settings specializing in work with individuals who express feelings of anxiety, depression and relationship concerns. My twenty year experience has taught me that providing the ability to understand themselves is truly when healing happens.
My Approach:
Active, Warm, and
Solution-Focused
In our lives we at time struggle with dealing with anxiety, depression, or everyday pressures. If you are feeling constantly in distress from life's uncertainties, counseling may be beneficial to you. In my practice, I work collaboratively with you to identify your specific needs that you believe is causing stress and discomfort in your life. My approach is to be an active guide to help you identify your strengths that you already possess, but do not utilize to its fullest potential. I utilize research based techniques from Cognitive Therapy, System Perspective, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help increase your self awareness and to challenge and alter your negative counterproductive patterns to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
